Rev Fiona Forbes BA, MSc Dip Min, M. Div.  

Fiona grew up in East Belfast, studied in England, and spent some time living in Scotland before returning to Northern Ireland. She worked in retail as an area manager before training for the Ministry of Word and Sacrament at Union Theological College. Fiona served as Licensed Assistant in McCracken Memorial Presbyterian Church before being called as minister of Cairncastle Presbyterian and then as minister of Harmony Hill in 2018. Fiona is passionate about opening up Scripture with people and seeing folks equipped and enabled to live for Jesus in all the places and spaces where they find themselves in their day-to-day lives. She also loves to see the church being 'family' - a place where relationships, and care for one another, are real and genuine and move us beyond the superficial. Alongside serving God and His people, Fiona enjoys a good book, a good cup of coffee, trying out a new recipe, and a walk with the family dogs - preferably in Mourne country. Fiona is married to Glyn (a Scotsman) and they have two adult children, Imogen and Ruairidh.

Outside church Maurice is a member of Lisburn Probus club. He enjoys golf and reading as well as venturing into the kitchen to concoct some culinary delight. Maurice also has five grandchildren some of whom delight in him being their school taxi driver.

Another Co. Tyrone man. Has worked in the aerospace industry with Bombardier for 30 years as a structural stress engineer. His engineering days now consist of restoring his Austin A35 van. Enjoys a spot of river fishing and likes to kick the ball and people in 5-a-side.

                                               Rev. David B Knox, B.A., B.D

David Knox grew up in Bangor, worked as an Assistant Minister in Belfast and was minister of Downpatrick from 1981 before coming to Harmony Hill in 1992. He believes that a biblical church should be both evangelical and ecumenical. David is married to Heather and they have two grown-up sons, Paul and Mark. David retired on 30th April 2017
